Garda DOP
The statement "Garda D.O.P." can be printed on the label only by the producers of the supply chain who have respected the product specification and the related control plan.
All packages placed on the market as Garda DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil must bear the numbered label, which allows to trace the history and origin of the product.
Garda DOP Oil Requirements
In 1997 Garda’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil was granted the Registered Designation of Origin (DOC) by the European Union. Only Garda DOP Oil has the characteristics of a guaranteed traditional product: the statement "Garda D.O.P." can be printed on the label only by the producers of the supply chain who have respected the product specification and the related control plan.
